Use of Personal Information

The only personal information that is made available to me is sent entirely on a voluntary basis via our email address (see below and on home page) and via the commenting facilities provided by Haloscan. Haloscan will log the date, time and IP address of all communications made via their commenting system. For further details, see Haloscan's privacy policy. All comments made to the site are moderated by me. Except in cases of abuse of the site, I will not make any attempt to associate the IP addresses logged by Haloscan with individual users.

Any emails are sent to me in the strictest confidence and will not be publicised in any way without prior permission of the author. I will always try to post technical inquiries made by email onto my Forum for the benefit of other users, but not without prior permission of the author. I will not pass on your email address to any third party, nor spam you with any emails.

Logging of Personal Information and Cookies

This site makes use of tracking facilities provided by Google Analytics. Both of these facilities log the date, time, IP address and domain server name of all connections made to the site and make use of cookies to track unique visitors to the site. The site itself does not send any cookies to its visitors.

I use the information provided, which does not identify individual users, to analyze entry and exit pages, popular areas of the site, track visitors' progress through the site, and to help administer the site as a whole. For further details, please see Google's privacy policy.

You will notice that towards the bottom of each article is a icon saying ‘Some Rights Reserved’. Clicking this will take you to the Creative Commons website where you can read the terms of the license I’ve chosen in order to allow my work to be shared.

However, I don’t want my hard work to go uncredited, therefore I’ve decided that all the articles on my site are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 Deed. This means that you are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and to make derivative works subject to the following conditions:
